Gowest Announces the Grants of Options

TORONTO,ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 24, 2009) - Gowest Amalgamated Resources Ltd. ("the Company") (TSX VENTURE:GWA) announces that options to purchase up to 1,895,000 common shares of the Company have been granted to directors, officers and consultants of the Company. The options are exercisable at $0.15 and are exercisable until June 24, 2014. The options are subject to regulatory approval. Gowest is a Canadian exploration company focused on advancing its quality Frankfield gold project near Timmins, Ontario.
