Gowest Amalgamated Resources Ltd: Grant of Options

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Dec. 20, 2004) - Gowest Amalgamated 
Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:GWA) ("the Company") announces that options 
to purchase 400,000 common shares of the Company have been granted to 
directors and officers. The options are exercisable at $0.35 and are 
exercisable until December 20, 2009.

The options are subject to regulatory approval.
