Gowest Amalgamated Resources Ltd. - Announcement

Toronto, Ontario
Gowest Amalgamated Resources Ltd. (CDNX: "GWA") announces that it
proposes to enter into an agreement with Shield Geophysics
Limited for the purchase of a 100% interest in a group of 125
unpatented mineral claims (the "Claims") located in the Townships
of Cavalier and Galinee, in the Casa Berardi area of Quebec. The
consideration payable to acquire the Claims, subject to a 3% net
smelter returns royalty, is $6,000 and 123,630 common shares in
the capital of Gowest.

Gowest intends to check, by drilling, four of six geological
targets which were disclosed by an airborne survey carried out on
the Claims.

The proposed agreement is subject to regulatory approval and the
approval of the board of directors of Gowest.
