Gowest Amalgamated Resources Ltd.: Frankfield
Drilling-Fourth Report

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Apr 6, 2004) - Results from the
drilling completed to date on the Gowest - New Texmont (50:50)
joint venture in Tully Township, northeast of Timmins, Ontario
follows. The last report was issued on February 26, 2004.

At the 150-meter level, four successful borings, at 50-meter
intervals have been previously reported. A fifth hole, 04-19, 50
meters west, is reported below. All holes completed on the
200-meter level are also shown as well as the first hole on the
250-meter level.

The above results clearly demonstrate that the gold mineralized
main zone is open east and west. The absence of main zone gold
values in hole 04-07 is attributed to a cross fault; the hole has
pierced the displacement portion of the fault. In holes 09 and 10
the reason for lack of main zone values is not yet apparent,
although structural disruption was noted in the core.

Several subsidiary zone intersections have been encountered, not
all shown on the above table. Their significance will depend upon
data from additional drilling.

Hole 04-14 has been completed and 04-15 is underway; however
because of spring flooding the drilling has been temporarily
suspended. Approximately 2000 meters remain to be drilled in the
first phase of the program. It is expected that drilling will
continue into the second phase without interruption in an effort
to acquire, as quick as possible, the data necessary to justify
development of the deposit.

The drill program is being conducted according to the 43-101
protocol requirements. Swastika Laboratories, an accredited
facility, is undertaking the gold analyses using the standard
fire assay method. The writer is the qualified person for
planning and implementation of the program.
