TORONTO, ONTARIO--Gowest Amalgamated Resources Ltd. ("the 
Company") announces that options to purchase 140,000 common 
shares of the Company have been granted to directors and 
officers. The options are exercisable at $0.26 and are 
exercisable until February 13, 2009. 

The options are subject to regulatory approval.
