Gowest Amalgamated Resources Ltd.: Frankfield
Drilling-Good Gold Widths in First Hole

TORONTO, ONTARIO--On behalf of the joint venture partners, Gowest
Amalgamated Resources Ltd and New Texmont Explorations Ltd
(50:50), Gowest management is pleased to present the assay
results from the initial hole 04-01 in our first stage of
drilling.

This hole was drilled south at 55 degrees to intersect the gold
bearing horizon at a vertical depth of 150 metres. Wide sections,
including 8.0 and 28.9 metres, of mineralized rock having
anomalous gold content were encountered. Between 173.5 and 197.5
m down the hole, significant gold intersections are as follows:

from 173.5 to 185.5 m, 2.93 g/tonne gold over 12 metres,
including

from 173.5 to 181.5 m, 3.68 g/tonne gold over 8 metres, and

from 192.5 to 197.5 m, 4.24 g/tonne gold over 5 metres, including

from 192.5 to 196.5 m, 4.93 g/tonne gold over 4 metres.

Within the eastern sector of the deposit, hole 04-01 is located
in an unexplored vertical area, roughly 200 metres, square. The
closest previously drilled hole, 88-9, had an intersection of
7.77 m averaging 3.32 g / tonne, 40 metres above the 5 m section
described in 04-01. The 12 m intersection in 04-01 upper would
represent a new zone.

Our objective is to establish a gold resource. The plan,
therefore, is designed to have holes intersect the mineralized
zone at 50 m intervals both horizontally and vertically.

Scattered reconnaissance drilling indicates a gold mineralized
zone at least 500 m long and 600 m deep. The stratabound nature
of the zone, consisting of irregular quartz-carbonate-sericite
and heavy sulphides in a tuffaceous bed lends itself to good
continuity, exceptional widths and lower but more uniform grades.
For example, in hole 89-3, a width of 22.65 metres averaged 5.45
g/tonne gold at a depth of 500 m.

The program and disclosure of results is being undertaken
according to the 43-101 protocol. The assay work is being
performed by Swastika Laboratories Ltd using the standard fire
assay method.
