Gowest Announces Grant of Options

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - June 7, 2005) - Gowest Amalgamated Resources Ltd. ("the Company")(TSX VENTURE:GWA) announces that options to purchase 280,000 common shares of the Company have been granted to directors and officers. The options are exercisable at $0.25 and are exercisable until June 7, 2010.

The options are subject to regulatory approval.
