(PINKSHEETS: SFIO) (www.sfio.us or www.smokefree-innotec.com) announced today that its European office in Antwerp, Belgium, received the results of an extensive focus group test performed by external marketing-research bureau VDGM&C in Belgium. The world's first, totally smoke-free hi-tec cigarette, REAL Smokefree, was presented and tested by an audience divided into groups of light and heavy smokers of various age, gender and geographical origin. These groups were asked to test the smokeless product in four well-defined categories: first impression -- evaluation and appreciation -- comparison within the concept -- buying intention.

The tests were performed in 3 phases: the preliminarily quantitative phase with the general public through phone interviews; the qualitative approach with a series of group discussions and product testing; and, finally, a quantitative approach with product testing to enumerate the findings of the qualitative part of the research.

The report shows that the REAL Smokefree 'cigarette' is perceived as a compelling alternative to regular smoking. All participants were excited and enthusiastic at being invited to take part in this process. Strong points brought forward are: the heating sensation experienced when inhaling; the look and feel of a 'real cigarette'; and, the user friendliness of the charger, filter and stick. 65% of the test persons would buy the product immediately if it would have been available at the test site and would use it on a regular basis. 68% of the audience preferred the 'cool mint' taste over the Virginian blend: fresher and giving more pleasure in general. 73% would like to see a fruity, coffee or chocolate taste: an idea that SFIO already decided to stay away from. And 25% would like to see a more colorful version of the charger. Everybody involved confirmed that the suggested consumer price of the starter kit of 99EUR and 9EUR for a 20 filter pack would be no inhibition to purchase the product. Only 13% would never consider buying a smoke free alternative and rather quit smoking.
