U.S. Army Installation Selects ICOP In-Car Video Solution

LENEXA, KS--(Marketwire - October 1, 2009) - ICOP Digital, Inc. (NASDAQ: ICOP), an industry-leading company engaged in advancing digital surveillance solutions, announced today that the 88th MP Detachment in Camp Zama, Japan, recently purchased ICOP Model 20/20®-W digital in-car video systems through Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN). Raytheon and ICOP recently entered into a reseller agreement enabling Raytheon to re-sell the ICOP solutions.

The 88th MP Detachment is part of the United States Army Japan & I Corps (Forward), a joint military organization. The ICOP systems will be used to reinforce local security and assist in daily operations. The recorded digital video will be stored on existing Army servers, using ICOP's digital video management software solution, ICOP DVMS™. ICOP DVMS is an approved software application for use on Army computer systems through the Army's Directorate of Information Management (DOIM).

The 88th MP Detachment's mission in the region is to support all US Army installations, maintain liaison with federal and Host Nation law enforcement agencies, and to provide military police, and law and order augmentation in the United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) area of operations.

Camp Zama is home to the US Army Japan/9th Theater Army Area Command, the 17th Area Support Group, the United Nations Command (Rear), the 500th Military Intelligence Brigade, the Japan Engineer District, the 78th Signal Battalion, the 3d Engineer Group of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, 88th MP Detachment and other units.
